At half past eleven this morning I typed one paragraph asking for some background music for my game. By two o'clock the game had a soundtrack: seven original pieces, twenty-one minutes, its own theme, cleared for commercial use, and it cost nothing. I'd have told you yesterday that this wasn't something I could do. I'm listening to it now.

The tests were green the whole time, because the layer that was broken had no tests — and I spent an evening as the test harness, being sent back up the same ramp to fall through the same floor. The interesting part isn't that it failed. It's that the same agent, the same model, on the same night, also did some of the best work I've seen it do, and the variable between the two wasn't the model.
